First Coast Pickleball

Our Promise, Commitment, and Apology.

Summer 2024

Apology

Firstly, our apology is to the many of you that we’ve not been able to start a season for yet. We know about the excitement that comes with something new and the anticipation of getting out there on the courts to play some pickleball!

Promise

Our unofficial motto is Fair, Fun, Local. To us, this means that we will do our best to put like-skilled players with other like-skilled players, locally. Each division and each individual player matters to us!

How is it fun or fair if a 4.0 is facing a 3.0? How about traveling 55 minutes away to play?  We do not want any of that to happen, and this is a huge reason of why a lot of our divisions have yet to see a season. We carefully look at all of these variables when putting together our leagues, regions, divisions. With time, and with more signups, we’re going to have a solid league that is indicative of our values!

Commitment

We are still very much a fledgling league and with that comes a lot of challenges, setbacks, and opportunities:

We have not grown as fast as we had anticipated, “sure things” that we’ve committed a lot of time and resources to have been put on hold or fallen through, more than a lot of players seem to be looking for partners.

We are here through it all! Our vision and passion is a community getting together to enjoy pickleball.
